PMDC MDCAT Test registration for 2023 is extended till August
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has released the registration schedule for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT 2023). The MDCAT is scheduled to take place on August 27, 2023. Online registration for MDCAT 2023 will commence on July 17, 2023, and the deadline to apply has been extended until August 03, 2023.
Due to high demand, the PMDC portal is currently experiencing a surge in traffic for the MD-CAT registration. As a result, the portal’s performance may be slower than usual. We kindly request your patience and suggest trying again after some time. We hope that students will be able to log in and complete their registration within the next few days.
Additionally, please take note that PMDC has introduced a new portal for the online application of MDCAT 2023. For online registration, you can now apply at http://mdcat.pmdcportal.com/Account/Login.
Registration Fee
The Registration fee will remain the same as last year i.e. Rs. 6,000/-

MDCAT PASSING PERCENTAGE FOR SESSION (2023-24)
The Passing Criteria of MDCAT-2023 have been approved for seeking admission to Medical or Dental colleges:
MBBS: 55%
BDS: 50%
RESULT VALIDITY:
The MDCAT result 2023 of one province shall be valid for the entire country and shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of its examination as per section 17 of the PM&DC Act 2022. The individual result certificates have already mentioned that the results of MD-CAT-2022 are no longer valid for seeking admission in session 2023.
INTERNATIONAL VENUES:
To facilitate the international candidates, PMDC will hold MD-CAT-2023 at two international countries/venues. For example Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). PMDC directs international aspirants to choose one of these two options according to their convenience of visa as well as traveling.
REGISTRATION FEE FOR INTERNATIONAL VENUES:
The international venue registration fee for MD-CAT-2023 is 100 USD Dollar. The international venues’ late Registration fee for MD-CAT-2023 is 150 USD Dollar.
NUMS (MDCAT-2023):
NUMS will be the admitting university and its MD-CAT results will only be applicable for admissions to all NUMS Affiliated medical/dental colleges.
Mandatory Requirement for Registration Portal (MDCAT-2023):
While submitting their details on the Exam Registration portal, candidates must upload a 1 Year F.Sc (Pre-Medical) Marks Sheet/ DMC.
